Today, the 25th April, 2016, the MCSU, Aizawl Zone deposited a small amount of Rs. 8,360/ (Rupees eight thousand three hundred sixty only) in the Bank Account of Bona Devi Chakma, Asst. Social Welfare Secy, APCSU to help the fellow brothers and sisters of Arunachal Pradesh who are badly affected by the recent devastating floods. Though the amount is small but we hope this small amount will be of immense help for them. We hope with the help of this gesture we will be able to bridge our relationship with our Chakma brethrens of AP in times to come. We are still continuously engaged ourselves to collect further donations to help our fellows in this time of hardship.
We are happy to attach the list of the donors who extended financial help in this regard.

Today, being the 24th April 2016, the Mizoram Chakma Students’ Union (MCSU), Aizawl held its 2nd general meeting in its office premise. The meeting was chaired by Keshaw Muni Chakma, President MCSU, Aizawl to discuss the following agendas:
1. To fix the date for Career Counselling in Aizawl.
2. To discuss regarding the contribution of funds to the flood victims Chakma brothers and sisters in Arunachal Pradesh.
3. Printing of MCSU, Aizawl T;shirt.
4. Miscellaneous
After a peaceful and detail discussion regarding the aforesaid agendas the following resolution have been made:
1. it is resolved that the Career Counselling programme is fixed to be held on 22nd May (Sunday), 2016.
2. MCSU, Aizawl is in grief about the disastrous floods happening in AP and for the problems facing by our Chakma brothers and sisters. Therefore, it is resolved that MCSU, Aizawl will collect funds from the students and various families residing in Aizawl and will send the funds  immediately by tomorrow i.e. 25th April, 2016. And a donation box will be placed at Chakma House for further contribution.
3. it is resolved that all office bearers should contribute Rs. 400 to buy and print MCSU T;shirt which should be given within two weeks in the month of May, 2016 to Keshaw Muni Chakma or Krishna Bikash Tong. And the others students members may also contribute the same if they wish to buy the MCSU T;shirt.

Today, being the 2nd April,2016, a general meeting of the Mizoram Chakma Students’ Union,Aizawl Zone was held at 11:00am at the premises of its Office,Chakma House, Hunthar Veng,Aizawl, Mizoram.The meeting was chaired by Mr Kashaw Muni Chakma,President,Mizoram Chakma Students’ Union Aizawl Zone.
After a prolong and peaceful discussion, the meeting was concluded with the following resolutions.
1. It is resolved that Rs.100 will be collected from the OBs members for the printing of Mcsu ID card.
2. It is also resolved that the following games will be organised during Phool Bizu & Mul Bizu.
(a) Geela Haara
(b) Phor Haara
(c) Potti Haara
(d) Sok banney mugurona (Blind Hit).
3. It is also resolved that a minimum of Rs. 300 will be contributed per student and Rs. 1000 per family if it’s having more than four members for the celebrating of Gozsey Pozsey Bizu at N.PALAI Resort, Sihmui.
4. It is also resolved that Rs. 50 will be collected from each student and Rs.100 from each family for Phool bizu & Mul bizu celebration at Chakra House which shall be collected on or before 10 April, 2016.
5. It is also resolved that the Mcsu Aizawl Zone is going to follow up its Annual Action Plan as detailed hereunder:
